A “very jealous” boyfriend is suspected of shooting and killing his girlfriend and her teenage son in their Manhattan apartment on Thursday, then turning the gun on himself, according to sources.

The violence erupted at about 12:30 p.m. at the nine-story Johnson Houses residential complex in the New York City Metropolitan Planning Association, at 165 East 112th Street in East Harlem, when a gunman shot his 40-year-old girlfriend behind the ear and in the thigh, and her 19-year-old son in the torso and arm, according to sources.

The 45-year-old gunman then shot himself in the head, sources told The Washington Post.
