Texas is at odds with the Biden administration over the state’s efforts to stop illegal immigration, with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit passing a bill that would allow state and local law enforcement to suspend arrests of illegal immigrants. .
Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott called in the National Guard to help install fencing to prevent illegal crossings in areas such as Eagle Pass, which has become a hotspot for illegal crossings.
