Disturbing Incident In Minnesota

A troubling situation emerged in Minnesota on May 26th when police responded to a report about a missing 14-year-old girl. Her parents had reached out to the Maplewood police, mentioning they believed she might be at a friend’s home in Oakdale.

Upon investigation, officers spoke with Angeline Olson, who claimed the girl was not at the house but assured them she would return her if she appeared. Later, around 1:30 a.m., a neighbor reported a shocking sighting.

Tayla Vennes, the neighbor, recounted, “I was just outside having a cigarette when this little girl ran past me, half naked.” Then, she saw Angeline coming out from behind the bushes, also unclothed. Vennes was understandably alarmed, questioning, “What’s going on here? Why are you naked in front of the kids?”

As tensions rose, police detained the Olsons after they became uncooperative. A subsequent search of the home revealed the girl hiding in a cardboard box beneath a pile of clothes in the bedroom.

The investigation escalated; authorities obtained a warrant to examine the couple’s electronic devices. They discovered explicit videos involving the couple and the young girl.

Charges were soon filed against the couple—Angeline Olson, aged 47, faces a charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, while her partner, Andrew Olson, 49, is charged with multiple counts of possessing child sexual abuse materials.

Neighbors reacted with outrage and horror, noting that Child Protective Services had previously removed teenagers from the couple’s care prior to this incident. Vennes expressed her dismay, saying, “This isn’t just another story. This involves another tragic victim. A little girl.” She added that she could never imagine something like this happening to her own child.

Andrew Olson’s attorney stated that his client maintains his innocence and looks forward to proving this in court. If convicted, Andrew could face up to 18 years in prison, while Angeline may face up to 30 years.

Vennes concluded with a chilling sentiment: “They need to be locked up. I hope they’re jailed for a long time.”
