U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin are gearing up for a crucial meeting in Alaska, with several officials from both sides expected to join them.
The discussions will primarily focus on the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, with private meetings planned to outline future steps.

On the U.S. side, the delegation features Secretary of State Marco Rubio, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bescent. Interestingly, Vice President JD Vance, currently on leave in the UK, is notably absent, as is special envoy Keith Kellogg, who recently met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
