Incident Involving ICE Officer in Minneapolis

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer sustained internal injuries after a car driven by Renee Good struck him in Minneapolis. The incident occurred on January 7, and Officer Jonathan Ross was subsequently hospitalized due to the internal bleeding, as reported by various sources.

A recently released image shows Officer Ross instructing Good to exit the vehicle right before she accelerated towards him, resulting in a collision.

Good was shot and killed at the scene, having reportedly been pursuing ICE agents throughout the day. Following the event, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem spoke to the press, confirming that the officer was struck by the vehicle and required hospitalization.

“The officer was hit by a car,” Noem stated to reporters. “She hit him. He went to the hospital. Doctors treated him. He has been released and will spend some time with his family.”

Vice President J.D. Vance expressed criticism towards left-leaning politicians, including Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, suggesting they bear some responsibility for encouraging activists like Good, who may put themselves in danger.

At a news conference, Vance conveyed his sadness for Good’s demise, stating, “Not just because she lost her life, but because I think she is a victim of left-wing ideology.” He added a somewhat critical reflection on the actions of individuals who confront law enforcement.

“For a young mother to show up and decide to throw her car in front of ICE officers who are enforcing legitimate laws? They must be a little bit brainwashed,” Vance remarked, implying a need for greater awareness among activists.
