ICE Files Complaint Over Detention of Illegal Immigrant Charged with Murder
ICE has lodged a detention complaint with authorities in Fairfax County regarding a case involving Anibal Armando Chavarria Muy, who has been charged with the murder of a man. The investigation revealed that Chavarria Muy and the victim were known to each other.
This incident has drawn attention to the actions of Virginia prosecutors, particularly after the House committee issued subpoenas for a Fairfax County prosecutor linked to George Soros, focusing on issues around the release of violent offenders, especially in immigration cases.
After some effort, police were able to locate Chavarria Muy in a vehicle and arrested him without any incidents. Meanwhile, the Department of Homeland Security indicated that ICE had requested Fairfax County authorities to maintain Chavarria Muy’s detention, citing past failures for not acting on similar requests.
According to officials, Chavarria Muy, an illegal alien from Guatemala, is charged with second-degree murder for repeatedly stabbing a victim in Fairfax County. Lauren Biss, Acting DHS Assistant Secretary, emphasized the urgency of the situation, urging Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger and local politicians not to allow this individual back into the community. Biss noted this was not the first such incident, reminding that just a month prior, another illegal alien fatally attacked a woman at a bus stop in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
That previous case involved Abdul Jallow, who has been charged with the stabbing death of Stephanie Minter, highlighting ongoing concerns about violent crimes linked to immigration policies. Strikingly, Jallow had been arrested over 30 times prior to the attack, facing charges that included rape and aggravated assault, yet many of these had been dropped, leaving him free.
