Democrat Expresses Regret After Shooting Incident
In the aftermath of Saturday’s shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, at least one prominent Democrat has shown remorse. Cole Thomas Allen, 31, reportedly attempted to storm a security checkpoint and opened fire, allegedly trying to assassinate President Trump and other officials.
During a recent discussion, Glenn Beck spoke with Andrew Corbett, a spokesperson for Turning Point USA, who shared insights from a conversation between Senator John Fetterman and Erica Kirk. “I heard Fetterman was quite emotional. All he could do was apologize,” Corbett noted, highlighting that the dialogue took place shortly after the shooting incident.
“This was an important moment for him,” Corbett remarked.
Glenn mentioned that he has wanted to reach out to Fetterman for a while. He admires Fetterman’s willingness to confront his own party’s ideologies, even if it might have consequences for his political future.
He remarked, “It’s fascinating how Democrats who voice common-sense opinions get sidelined by their own party. There’s a need for more rational voices.” Glenn further emphasized that there must be some radicals within the party.
He went on to accuse Democrats of playing a role in the increasing political violence, stating, “You’re not innocent bystanders anymore. The evidence is overwhelming.”
“Those who wish to harm this country need to reconsider their path,” he warned. Meanwhile, he mentioned that conservatives will continue their efforts to address these issues—through voting, pleading, and raising awareness.
If Democrats persist in promoting violence, he suggested, it could lead to dire consequences for all, including their own families.
“Your children and grandchildren will bear the brunt of Marxism and chaos, and it will be on you!” Glenn cautioned.
