Trump ran up the score with these voters in New Hampshire primary win, Fox News Voter Analysis reveals

The New Hampshire primary is over, and former President Donald Trump has been declared the winner.

In our Fox News Voter Analysis election research, we've spoken to more than 1,800 NH Republican primary voters.

First, let's look at some of the groups in which Trump has performed best.

Half of N.H. Republican primary voters described themselves as MAGA supporters, and 87% of them voted for Trump. He also performed well with conservative voters, people without college degrees, and rural voters.

This is similar to what we saw in Iowa last week.

What New Hampshire voters want from Republican candidates

When did primary voters decide who to vote for? 6 in 10 made their decision more than a month ago.

And 69% of this group are Trump supporters, compared to just a quarter of Haley supporters.

What do Republican primary voters think about how the country is run? Three in 10 voters want complete and utter chaos, and 82% of them support Trump.

This is even higher than in Iowa, where 70% of caucus attendees supported Trump.

Regarding winning in November, 74% of respondents said it is very important that the Republican candidate wins in November. More than 6 in 10 of these voters support Mr. Trump.

The numbers may change by 1-2 points as the results are updated.
