The Facebook founder amassed another $84 billion, increasing his net worth to $139.1 billion, making him the fifth richest person in the world. Zack’s wealth has ballooned even as lawsuits reveal the horrifying depths of child sexual abuse and grooming that occur on Facebook and Instagram.
Yahoo Finance report Mr. Zuckerberg’s financial growth will reach approximately $9.6 million per hour, or approximately $230.6 million per day, in 2023. This surge coincides with a strategic pivot to the metaverse, which focuses on virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies.
However, the transition was not without its challenges, with the company facing misinformation and user retention issues. Breitbart News reported that Zuckerberg appeared at a recent Senate Judiciary Committee hearing and spoke about the lives of children whose lives were ruined by his company’s products after being shot by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Missouri). He reportedly apologized to his family.
Sen. Hawley first criticized Mr. Zuckerberg for doing little or nothing to protect children on Facebook and Instagram, and then asked why the billionaire and his company should protect victims and their He criticized the government for not providing compensation to the families.
So Sen. Hawley changed tactics. He said:
The families of the victims are here today. Have you apologized to the victim? Why not do it now? They are here, you are the victims of the people. Would you like to apologize right now to the victim who was harmed by your product? Show him the photo. Do you want to apologize to these good people?

“I’m sorry for everything you’ve been through,” Zuckerberg said during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on “Big Tech and the Online Child Sexual Exploitation Crisis.” She added: “It’s terrible. No one should have to go through what your family went through.”
Parents Zuckerberg spoke to claim that social media, especially Instagram, has contributed to their children’s suicides and exploitation. Many were wearing blue ribbons that read “Stop Online Harm!” Get over the yellow sand! ” — a reference to a bill aimed at strengthening the protection of children online.
Despite this, Meta’s stock price has rebounded significantly this year. Zuckerberg’s personal investment portfolio is not limited to technology.
