The Democratic National Committee (DNC) on Saturday launched mobile billboards displayed in North Carolina and Virginia attacking former President Donald Trump during his visit to the Super Tuesday states.
The mobile billboard was first shared with The Hill. claim Trump will “come for your health care” if elected to another term.
“Medicaid expansion? Gone,” it says. “Abortion? Banned nationwide.”
“IVF? It’s under attack,” she added. “Trump MAGA extremism. It’s bad for your health.”
The mobile billboards will be placed on trucks that will be making the rounds Saturday during the day in Greensboro, North Carolina, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and in the evening in Richmond, Virginia, from 5 to 8 p.m. In both cases, Trump, the likely Republican nominee, is holding rallies in the area.
Republican primaries will be held in North Carolina and Virginia on Tuesday, with Mr. Trump on the ballot against his primary challenger, Nikki Haley. Haley will hold a rally in Raleigh on Saturday and will also campaign in North Carolina.
“Donald Trump is bad for your health. His extreme MAGA policies include stripping millions of people of health insurance, siding with greedy insurance companies over hardworking families, and banning abortion nationwide. “This includes depriving parents of their ability to grow their families through in vitro fertilization,” said Alex Floyd, DNC Rapid Response Director.
In 2020, Trump won North Carolina with nearly 50% of the vote, and President Biden won Virginia with more than 54%.
