In recent months, Democrats and mainstream media have been trying to convince Americans that Colorado has every right to exclude former President Donald Trump from the 2024 ballot.
However, the Supreme Court does not accept that.
The court ruled 9-0 that Colorado could not use Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to remove Trump from the ballot.
Glenn Beck and Stu Brugiere are satisfied, but note that the court may still leave Democrats with options.
“The only way this can be done is through legislation in Congress,” Stu explains. “They leave open the question of what federal powers are available there.”
To remove Trump from the vote, Congress would have to pass a law saying he was involved in the riot and should be removed from office.
“We can’t do that now because the House is Republican,” Glenn said, adding: Dog-faced aliens could come and take over the White House on January 7th, and I’d think, “Oh, I didn’t see that coming, but I see, I see.” . ”
Stu says Democrats have more options.
“Suppose Donald Trump wins the presidential election, the Democrats take control of the Senate, and flip the House of Representatives. “Sho,” Stu explains.
“And all they have to do is vote and say he’s an agent of the insurrection and therefore can’t be president of the United States,” Glenn agrees.
