Florida woman stabs man in wild Wawa rampage, before threatening employees and smashing computers: police

A Florida woman allegedly went on a rampage at a Wawa store and stabbed a man with a large knife before committing another crime, police said.

According to FOX 13 Tampa, Christina Marie Crane, 37, was charged with attempted felony murder, criminal mischief and aggravated assault. She was also charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The Pinellas Park Police Department tells FOX 13 the incident happened at the Wawa on Gandy Boulevard around 10 p.m. Friday night.

Authorities believe the suspect was under the influence of alcohol and in a state of “excited delirium” when he entered the store.

Crane allegedly took a fixed-blade knife from the deli and stabbed the man, causing him to bleed. He suffered a minor abrasion to his left hand.

After leaving the Wawa, the suspect entered an office and held a knife to a female employee’s head, authorities said. The woman reportedly told the office worker, “I’m going to kill her.”

Crane is also suspected of brandishing a knife and nearly attacking another female office worker. She also reportedly destroyed a computer monitor in her office and caused more than $1,000 worth of property damage.
