Viral video of trans teen’s brutal beating of girl at NY school sparks bomb threat

“To me, that qualifies as a hate crime,” Grapman said. “I would like to work as closely as possible with the authorities to ensure that those responsible are prosecuted to the fullest extent possible.”

Graapman said the school quickly mobilized in response to the threat. Greek police entered the building and cleared it with the help of trained dogs. According to WHAMTV.

“GPD was able to enter the building,” Grapman said. “They assured us there was no threat and that we could resume classes and get our kids back on campus.”

“That fight was important, very upsetting and disturbing,” Grapman said.

“Our district took swift action on this. It was not an event that went unnoticed or swept under the rug. It was a very specific and sensitively handled event.”

Arcadia High School is located in northern Greece, a suburb of Rochester, New York. The school was briefly evacuated early Friday morning after a bomb threat cited a viral video of a fight between a trans student and a petite woman. google map

Police have not yet determined who reported the bomb threat.

“I think there was a very deliberate effort to cause harm and damage, and it was taking advantage of students and using children as pawns in that,” Grapman said. said. “And it frustrates me and makes me very upset.”
