Florida Voters Favor Trump, Also Support Proposed Abortion Measure

Florida voters are likely to support former President Donald Trump in November’s presidential election, but a majority say they will pass a ballot measure that would enshrine the right to kill an unborn child through abortion in the state constitution. There are also public opinion polls. found.

According to a CBS News poll, 54% of Florida voters said they would vote for Trump “if the election were held today,” while 45% said they would support President Joe Biden. If Florida voters pass the measure with more than 60 percent support in November, the amendment would eliminate the six-week limit and essentially establish a permanent right to abortion in the state. , but repealing it would require another ballot measure or a difficult legal battle.

The CBS News poll on the Fourth Amendment is the second poll showing the bill has enough support to pass in November. Two other recent polls showed the amendments were insufficient.
