Former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden in Nevada, according to an American Impact Research/Fabrizio Lee/AARP poll.
Overall polls show Trump leading Biden in a state that has held Democratic presidential preference since 2008. Trump leads Biden by three points in the state, with 48% approval rating to Biden’s 45%.
If third-party candidates, including independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., are included, Trump’s lead over Biden increases by another four points, giving him a seven-point lead over the incumbent.

Pollsters said identifying persuadable voters — about a quarter of those over 50 said they would split their vote — and appealing to them would be key to the campaign.
“We know they’re going to vote,” Democratic pollster Jeffrey List said of the older swing voters, “and there are enough of them out there to decide this race.”
In the presidential election, women outperformed Biden by 6 percentage points in head-to-head races, while Trump outperformed men by 14 percentage points. Polls show Biden winning among voters under 34 and nearly all those over 65, but trailing well among middle-aged voters.
Moreover, the poll shows Biden’s approval ratings are at a dismal level, with 37% approving and 58% disapproving — a 21-point gap between his approval rating and his approval rating.

The survey was conducted among 600 voters aged 18 and over from June 12-18, 2024. The margin of error is plus or minus 4 percentage points.
Nevada lost It has defeated the Democratic presidential candidate every year since 2008. Trump lost Nevada in both 2016 and 2020 by 2.4 percentage points.
The results were released ahead of the first 2024 presidential debate between Trump and Biden, which had sparked widespread panic among Democrats after Biden’s lackluster performance, which featured repeated phrases, freezes and back-pedalling.
