Two Georgia school employees accused of sexually abusing students described themselves as “together for life” friends and were involved in each other’s weddings.
Former Calhoun City Schools employee Raylee Gleason was indicted Thursday on two counts of first-degree sexual contact by employee or agent for allegedly having sexual intercourse with two different male students between October 2021 and January 2022. WXIA TelevisionBrooklyn Shuler was indicted on the same charges, alleging she had sexual intercourse with another male student between October 2021 and January 2022.
under Georgia LawIf convicted of first-degree inappropriate sexual contact by an employee or agent, the minimum sentence is one year and the maximum sentence is 25 years in prison, except if the victim is under the age of 16, the sentence ranges from 10 to 30 years.
The ages of the alleged victims have not been released.
The women were processed at the Gordon County Jail and released on $10,000 bail each.
The women’s roles within the school district have not been disclosed.
The two suspects are no longer employed by Calhoun City Schools, but it has not been revealed whether they have resigned or been fired.
of Calhoun Times According to the report, Schuller is currently a fourth-grade teacher at Red Bud Elementary School, which is in a different school district.
Gleason described her as his “best friend” and someone who “will be with me until death.” New York Post.
According to a now-deleted wedding website, Schuller was a bridesmaid at Gleason’s wedding in October 2023. Meanwhile, Gleason was a bridesmaid at Schuller’s wedding in November 2022.
Gleason is a member of Calhoun High School’s Class of 2019 and is reportedly graduating from Kennesaw State University in 2023.

Calhoun City Schools did not respond to a request for comment from the New York Post.
