MSNBC host Joy Reid on Wednesday questioned the nature of former President Trump’s injuries after he narrowly survived the assassination attempt.
“I have so many questions! For example, where are the medical reports? What caused Trump’s injuries? What were his injuries? Shapenel?” [sic] Glass? Bullets? Where were the three attendees who were shot while sitting or standing close to Trump? Why was Trump allowed to stand and take photos or pump his fist while asking questions about his shoes, when the shooter could have just as easily been someone else? Reid wrote in the post: In thread.
Reade was responding to a post after the Pennsylvania shooting that questioned why journalists were requesting medical information from President Biden but not from President Trump.
“How did a shooter get onto the roof of a building where local police were literally inside?” she asked.

Members of both sides of the political aisle have questioned how the Secret Service secured the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, while the FBI continues to investigate the deadly shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Has the organization confirmed this? And where is this ladder? Did he really bring a 5 foot ladder with the AR? Is that true? And why haven’t authorities released any information on all 3 civilian victims, including schematics of where they were standing/sitting?” Reid continued.
While discussing the assassination attempt on Trump on air Monday, Reid suggested Trump ” bore the consequences ” for ” encouraging ” the violence.

“The idea of political violence that we’ve had ever since is so dangerous,” she said after recounting her experience at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in 2016. “So dangerous that even if you’re one of the people promoting it, you can’t avoid the consequences.”

“Reports from people on the scene and other reporters say it was broken by glass from a teleprompter, not a bullet, but was it a bullet? There are a lot of questions about the ear, but they’re not being answered. Instead, they just show footage of a man coming into the hall with an injured ear,” Steele said.
