First appearance on FOXFormer President Trump has criticised President Biden's botched handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal in a new documentary that links the Abbey Gate terror attack to the Biden administration's focus on the “culture war”.
The American Principles Project (APP), a conservative think tank, The trailer was released for a documentary coming out next week.
The documentary, “Culture War: The Deadly Consequences of the Woke War Machine,” focuses on the 2021 Abbey Gate suicide bombing, which marked its third anniversary on Monday. The bombing, which came amid the US's frantic withdrawal from Afghanistan, killed 13 US soldiers and a total of 180 people.
The documentary includes interviews with former President Trump, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, several members of Congress, and the families of the four military personnel killed in the attack. The documentary argues that the Biden administration has been focused on the “culture wars.” The trailer highlights decisions around COVID-19 vaccinations and a recruitment drive using drag queens.

Trump, who visited Arlington National Cemetery on Monday to mark the third anniversary of the Abbey Gate terror attack, has criticised Biden's response to the failed withdrawal in a soon-to-be-released documentary.
“When Biden took office, frankly, he didn't know what he was doing. They lost respect for our country. When I was here, they respected our country,” Trump said.
“There had been no murders for 18 months until that horrible day when so many people died. We had lost our dignity, our pride and our strength. It was a really terrible situation,” he continued.
Terry Schilling, president of the American Principles Project, accused President Biden and Vice President Harris of overseeing a “left-wing social experiment.”
“Maintaining a strong military is one of the president's most important responsibilities, but under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, our military has become a left-wing social experiment, with deadly consequences,” Schilling said.
“The Culture Wars seeks to expose the true destruction that the Democratic Party's cultural extremism has wreaked on our service members. The men and women who died at Abbey Gate deserve better from this administration in Washington,” he continued. “We owe it to them and their families to ensure that their stories are told so the American people know exactly how we got to this dangerous situation and what we need to do to avoid such needless catastrophes in the future.”

Family members of the 13 American soldiers who died appeared on stage. At the Republican National Convention Last month, Biden said he had never publicly named their loved ones.
Biden and Harris issued separate statements on Monday to mark the third anniversary of the Abbey Gate bombing, each naming the 13 soldiers who were killed.
“These 13 Americans, and so many more who were wounded, were patriots in the highest sense of the word. Some were born the year the war in Afghanistan began; others were on their second or third deployment. But all raised their hands for a cause bigger than themselves, risking their own safety for the safety of their fellow Americans, allies and partners in Afghanistan. They embodied the very best of our nation – bravery, commitment and selflessness. And we owe them and their families a sacred debt that we can never fully repay, but will never stop working to repay it,” Biden said.
Biden's comments contradict his comments from a June debate, when he claimed, “The fact is, I'm the only president in this century, in this decade, who hasn't had a soldier die anywhere in the world like he has,” a claim that drew strong backlash.

“We also owe a debt to their brothers and sisters who served and sacrificed for our freedom and our future in America's longest war in history. 20,744 American service members were wounded, and 2,461 paid the ultimate sacrifice. They were sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, spouses and friends. No matter how much time passes, the pain of their loss will remain real and raw, and so will our pride in their service. From the deserts of Helmand to the mountains of Kunduz and everywhere in between, these women and men worked alongside our Afghan partners to defend their country. And on deployment after deployment, mission after mission, they braved everything, risked everything and gave everything to keep us safe,” he continued.
