Woman runs onto Steelers’ field with pro-Trump sign as former president attends game

On Sunday night, one woman really wanted to impress former President Donald Trump.

The former president and current Republican candidate spent the weekend campaigning in Pennsylvania before attending Sunday night's NFL game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets.

When he was spotted during the game, chants of “USA” rang out throughout the crowd, and one fan took it further.

Near the end of the game, a woman ran onto the field holding a sign that read, “Trump Secures the Border, Harris Opens the Border.”

sports net new york He said the woman was “taken off the field,” but more chants of “USA” rang out.

The three-time draftee held a rally Saturday in Latrobe, near Arnold Palmer's home field, that was also attended by former Steelers stars Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell. They even attended the game with him in his suite.

Brown threw a “Trump/Vance” towel into the crowd Sunday, reminiscent of Pittsburgh's famous “terrible towel.”

Despite Gang Green coming in and taking Aaron Rodgers' favorite wide receiver, Davante Adams, the Steelers outscored the Jets 37-15. The Steelers' defense held Adams to just three catches for 30 yards in his Jets debut. This was the first game he and Rodgers played together since the 2021 season.

The game also marked Russell Wilson's Steelers debut after Justin Fields opened the season 4-2.
