The Pembroke Pines homeowner, who did not want to be identified, shared surveillance video of the incident along with an image of a handwritten note. WPLG-TV.
“You are a disgrace to the military and a disgrace to this country for supporting lowlife pigs like Donald Trump.”
The video shows the man walking toward a “Veterans for Trump” sign on the front lawn, kicking it before walking away, the station said.
WPLG reported that the man returned a minute later and focused on the home, then returned a third time and left a note in the home's mailbox.
“First of all, I was worried about my house. I wasn't there at the time, so I was worried about my children and my wife who was there,” the homeowner told police.
The homeowner also told WPLG that the energy and effort the perpetrator put into accomplishing his mission was alarming, not to mention the wording of the letter that followed the homeowner.
“This show talks about how my selection as a candidate has brought shame to my country and shame to the U.S. military,” the homeowner added to the station. “And at the end of the letter it actually said, 'Go to hell.'”

You are a disgrace to the military and a disgrace to this country for supporting vile pigs like Donald Trump. shame on you! It would be better to take down the military signs. Your military service means nothing to me. Go to hell.
WPLG said the memo in question came to the attention of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
The department added that numerous political signs have been stolen from homes across Plantation, and angry residents have also reported thefts in Fort Lauderdale. WPLG also noted that banners were repeatedly removed in the Coconut Grove area further south in Miami.
