In the wake of Vice President Kamala Harris' loss, Harris' senior advisers looked back on the campaign, and their own internal research showed that Harris was far behind Trump. He said he was “surprised” to see Harris leading in mainstream media polls over the month.

Harris' senior campaign adviser, David Plouffe, recently spoke about what specifically went “wrong” in some of the campaign's internal calculations.

“We were behind. I mean, I think people were surprised because the polls that came out in late September, early October showed a lead that we had never seen before,” Plouffe said. Ta.

Former campaign staffers Jen O'Malley Dillon, Quentin Fawkes and Stephanie Cutter similarly reflected on Harris' campaign.

“She felt as though she was part of the administration. So why did she look back and see some things she would have done differently if she had been involved?” Do we have to be selective? And she had tremendous loyalty to President Biden as well,” Cutter said.

Cutter's comments come after Harris said she would have acted differently than how Biden approached her presidency, while also imitating the former Democratic lawmaker and labeling herself a “transformational” candidate. He mentions the criticism he has faced. President Barack Obama.

“Imagine if we said, ‘Well, we would have taken this approach at the border.’” And then, “She never said that in a meeting,” or “She said this.” Imagine hearing people say things like, “What kind of meeting was that?'' or “I remember when she did that.'' And it just didn't give us what we needed because it wasn't a complete break,” Cutter continued.

The campaign also blamed the Biden administration's unpopularity and the media's portrayal of Harris as “too scared to give interviews,” which Dillon thought was an unfair portrayal.

“This depiction created an impossible uphill battle for us,” Dillon said. “Kamala Harris is a leader who has consistently demonstrated the ability to tackle difficult issues and advocate for policies that matter to Americans.”

Dillon said Harris' campaign had been unfairly characterized as “too scared to give interviews,” but it took 100 days from the time she became the Democratic nominee to hold a formal press conference. It took almost a month to get a seat. Interview.

Additionally, the Harris campaign blamed the failure on “bad timing,” and even tried to prevent their candidate from appearing on the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE), the world's most popular podcast. I decided not to.

Podcaster Joe Rogan previously revealed that the Harris team traveled all the way to Harris to request that the episode be kept to an hour, significantly shorter than the average JRE episode.

But when it came to Trump's turn to appear on the podcast, where he spoke for three hours with Rogan, garnering 51 million views on YouTube alone, Trump was unafraid to face any questions. was shown to the American people.

“There's a lot of intrigue behind this, a lot of theories,” Cutter said of Logan's accident.

“It's that simple. We wanted to do it…I hate to repeat myself, but it was a very short race with a very limited number of days, and it was a very competitive field for the candidates. We're going to Houston one day away from the game. Getting the timing right is really important,” Cutter continued.

“She was ready and willing to take on Joe Rogan…If that would have changed anything, it would have been defeated. Not because of the conversation, but because of the fact that she was doing it. That was an advantage,” Cutter said. “But ultimately it didn't have any impact on the outcome.”
