A shooting at a private Christian school in Madison, Wisconsin, left four people dead and at least seven others injured, according to initial reports. The alleged gunman was also found dead.
Initial reports said the gunman was a student at Abundant Life Christian School.
“Officers located a juvenile believed to be responsible.” [the] He died inside the building.” said Madison Police Department Lt. Shon Burns told reporters.

Police said the shooting occurred around 11 a.m. at the school, which serves kindergarten through 12th grade students.
“We continue to gather evidence, gather intelligence and make sure our community is safe from this sad day for our community and our country,” Burns said. said.

A White House press secretary said President Joe Biden was updated on the incident.
“The President was briefed on the Madison, Wisconsin school shooting. Senior White House officials are in contact with local officials in Madison to provide assistance as needed,” said Deputy Chief of Staff Emily Simmons. the spokesperson said.
