Donald Trump vowed to pardon the nonviolent protesters of January 6 within minutes of his inauguration. But there's another person looking to take advantage of the president's generosity: Joseph Maldonado-Passage, better known as the Tiger King, Joe Exotic.
“Tiger King” is a true-crime documentary series on Netflix that was released in March 2020, during the height of coronavirus quarantine measures. The show's millions of viewers were captivated by the series' inside scoop on the bizarre underworld of illegally breeding big cats, but by the end of the show, they found themselves eccentrically dressed, gay and polygamous. I was also completely captivated by the Tiger King himself, the official zookeeper. , was jailed on 17 counts of animal cruelty and two counts of commissioned murder.
Exotic, who just barely completed his 21-year prison sentence, is hoping President Trump will show him mercy.
alex stein The “Primetime with Alex Stein” star recently spoke with Exotic over the phone about his prayers for early release.
“You and John Clay Wolf and Joe Rogan are rooting for me and Matt Gaetz right now…I have that voice. I just want that person to be heard.” Exotic tells Stein.
Alex says he doesn't understand “why this is such a big deal” given that exoticism is a “cultural phenomenon” and “no one was hurt.”
“Joe, there are many rapists, child molesters, and murderers who have shorter sentences than you. It shows that our political system and our criminal justice system are completely corrupt,” he said. says.
Exotic says he hopes Trump will have some empathy, considering he has been a repeated victim of a corrupt judicial system.
“I need his help,” Exotic admits.
“What's crazy is that the so-called hitman that the government framed me for, admitted on World TV's 'Tiger King 2' that he lied and made it all up. And then he went a step further and said that Alex and … He took the lawyers and the movie people to the zoo and showed them where he hid the murder weapon and showed them where he was actually going to kill me in the first place,'' he laments. “I don't know why I'm here. It doesn't make sense.”
Alex said he would be reaching out to Lara Trump and Donald Trump Jr. on behalf of Exotic.
“If he pardons 3,000 people on January 6th, you need to be thrown in there, too,” he says.
