Hundreds of protesters – many of them covered in large wigs, makeup and lots of leather – came down to Kennedy Center on Saturday. “Rally and Drag March.” This is the latest in a series of protests in response to President Donald Trump's ban on Kennedy Center drug production, many of which were aimed at LGBTQ+ youth under the age of 18.
“This president is demonizing marginalized communities to control American art. It's shameful, immoral, weak,” says drug artist Tarafuto.
