VIDEO: Trump says Chuck Schumer has ‘become a Palestinian,’ insults Rosie O’Donnell again at White House meeting

President Donald Trump swiped two of his oldest enemies at an eventful meeting at the White House on Wednesday.

He tore into New York Senate Democrat Chuck Schumer and throws a rhetorical jab at comedian Rosie O'Donnell. Trump had met Ireland's Taojeech Michael Martin when he was questioned by a reporter.

“He was once Jewish. He is no longer Jewish.”

The president expressed his dissatisfaction with Schumer after opposing the cancellation of the student visa for Columbia University accused of intimidating Jewish students, taking part in violent protests on campus.

“Chuck Schumer is Palestinian as far as I'm concerned. I know he's become Palestinian. He was once Jewish. He's not Jewish anymore. He's Palestinian. Trump said before the reporters.

Schumer said Tuesday that he opposed Halil's policy but supported a university that dealt with the issue, not immigrant staff.

“I dislike many of the opinions and policies that Mahmoud Khalil holds and supports, and have criticised me for anti-Semitic behaviour in Colombia. Mr. Khalil is a legal permanent resident here as well, and his pregnant wife is an American citizen.” On social media.

“The Trump administration's DHS must clarify criminal charges or facts that justify his detention or initiation of deportation proceedings against him,” he added. “If the administration cannot prove it, he violates the criminal law to justify taking this harsh action and does it for the opinions he has expressed, it is wrong, so they are violating the first amendment protection that we all enjoy and should stop litigating misconduct.”

Here's Trump's comments on Schumer:

Trump also ridiculed O'Donnell after saying she had moved to Ireland and wouldn't come back until everyone was respected.

“Ireland is known for its very fun people, great attitudes, and many people in this room now. Why would you move Rosie O'Donnell to Ireland in the world? She's just going to lower your happiness level.”

“Thank you, I like that question,” Trump said.

“Do you know who she is? Trump joked to Martin.

His jab gave a lot of laughter from reporters and others in the room.
