NYC Mayor Eric Adams makes appearance on Lara Trump’s Fox News show, defends ICE

Mayor Eric Adams appeared on a Fox News program hosted by President Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara, where he defended the ice and spoke about the issues the immigration crisis had in the city.

Hizzoner went on to “My Views with Lara Trump” with his new abilities as an independent candidate, promoting his decision to bring immigrants and customs enforcement officers back to Rikers Island Prison.

“One of the big mistakes that are being made in part of the philosophy on the far left is that ICE is a criminal organization. They are not. They are part of our law enforcement,” he added.

“People want to turn this into a political agenda. I’m focusing on New Yorkers, 80% of New Yorkers say people who are doing dangerous things.

The mayor also spoke to former Republican National Committee co-chairman Laura Trump about the $1 billion financial burden the city felt for the Biden administration’s immigration policy.
“The $7.5 billion I spent, or $200 million, may have gone to chronically absent children.

It might have gone to my senior. It could have gone to build more homes. That shouldn’t have been our problem. And that was the case,” Adams said.

“It was very difficult to deal with, but we did, and that would have a long-term impact on our city.”

Adams said he will continue to work with the Trump administration because it is “common sense,” and he also said he is forced to be a sense of patriotism.

“The person you want to be president is not the president, so you don’t suddenly become anti-American,” the mayor said.

“When you don’t respect the office, you’re sending the wrong message. I respect the office. There’s a president called President Trump. I work with that president and build for the people of our city.
