Former White House special adviser Ty Cobb said Tuesday about MSNBC’s “deadline” that President Donald Trump’s “clearly unconstitutional” actions have caused “war” in our country’s future.
Cobb said, “If I remember the opportunity Trump came to address the Justice Department Cathedral, it was introduced by Pam Bondi, who had made a pledge to protect and serve the Constitution, but at that moment declared her loyalty to Trump and dedicated her staff to that cause.
He continued. “Because of her ab-decency rebellion and disrespect, when he highlighted her actions and her department’s actions, as he cited the fact that unless he abandoned the course and resumed his dedication to the Constitution, it is likely that it will cause great difficulties for the country. The lawsuit against the law firm, the lawsuit against Mr Krebs, the executive order that Turner, the Department of Justice, is clearly unconstitutional and is breached by the First Amendment.”
Cobb said, “I think we’re in a very difficult situation. We put a lot of pressure on the courts. I think the courts are doing that, but unfortunately the courts weren’t designed as an immediate response team. And sadly, we have a parliament where Parliament can speak to. The future of our nation.”
