Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya revealed that she had several “macro” intakes of psychedelic drugs before her recent victory.
Adesanya, who appears to be retired now, said there will be plenty of mental and emotional work to do by April 8, 2023 and will be able to compete with Alex Pereira at UFC 287.
At that point, Adesanya had just lost the championship to Pereira in November at UFC 281 in New York City. Worse, Pereira defeated Adesanya in kickboxing in China in 2017 and 2016 in Brazil.
After losing about seven years to Pereira from around the world, Adesanya knew that if he was to defeat his rival in Miami, he would have to do his internal work himself.
“I don’t know if it was your ancestor or something, but I was able to feel myself on a level I’ve never felt before.”
“The work I did myself internally – I can’t stress that enough. The work I did through therapy, and only the life experience,” Adesanya said. I said “Kamal, Henry and 4 pounds.”
The 35-year-old then revealed that much of his emotional work stems from several major psychedelic trips leading up to the fight.
“The battle at Pereira in Miami, I was in the shower, not three micro, macros.
Adesanya explained that he was not “too deep” in drugs or mentally “too deep” but he said he was able to “feel” his ancestors.
“I don’t go too deep. That’s it, I can feel myself, I can feel myself more deeply. I don’t know if it’s your ancestor or something, but I was able to feel myself on a level I’ve never felt before.”
The New Zealand resident said he enjoyed changing his state of mind from time to time with attempts to turn off the inner demons and emotions he had been carrying. During this process he recalls writing a message to himself in the mirror about making the biggest comeback in UFC history.
All the psychedelic stories inspired former UFC champion and host Henry Sejude, asking Adesanya if he was licking or happy. The host asked as he realized that Adesanya was a guest on Mike Tyson’s former podcast and Tyson had. Defended toad licking Many times.
Licking toads usually refers to psychotropic compounds secreted by toads in the Colorado River region that have hallucinating effects. According to Banyan Treatment Centre, Licking a toad It can lead to vivid visual hallucinations, changes in perceptions of time and the universe, and spiritual experiences.
Adesanya said he was accepting the experience.
