As millions of migrants flood the country's southern border every month, the Department of Homeland Security and impeached Alejandro Mayorkas have pushed ahead with efforts to raise awareness about human trafficking.

The tweet comes as conservatives like Texas Rep. Chip Roy call on the Biden administration to secure the southern border.
Republicans pounced on Mayorkas' post.
“Americans: 'Close our borders and stop human trafficking,'” said Republican Sen. Mike Lee of Utah. tweeted. “Mayorkas: 'Have you seen my blue tie?'” Lee added.
“Under your watch, our borders have become the largest human trafficking operation in history. This virtue-heralding post has as much credibility as if it were posted by Epstein. The number of victims pales in comparison to the crimes your policies have enabled,” said Texas Republican Rep. Michael Cloud. tweeted.
