DNC to put up billboard in Eagle Pass for Trump’s border trip

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is setting up a mobile billboard in Eagle Pass, Texas, to welcome former President Donald Trump to the US southern border.

The DNC’s mobile bulletin board will play a video attacking President Trump’s immigration record and his repeal of a bipartisan border agreement, the committee first told The Hill.

of video Through news clips and clips of President Trump’s speeches, he highlights how President Trump’s policies have separated families at the border.

“And now, for the sake of pure politics, he has broken a bipartisan border agreement,” the video reads, playing other news clips. “Trump doesn’t care about border security. He only cares about himself.”

The DNC will also place an ad on the home page of the Eagle Pass News Leader, a local Texas newspaper.

“Donald Trump doesn’t care about border security, he only cares about himself, and his Eagle Pass visit is a sign of bipartisan support for the toughest and fairest border security reform in decades. “We’re simply shining a spotlight on how we directed MAGA Republicans to tear up the deal,” the DNC said. Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd told The Hill.

While President Trump is in Eagle Pass, President Biden is scheduled to meet with officials in Brownsville, Texas. Mr. Biden and his campaign are trying to remind voters that Mr. Trump helped destroy the bipartisan border agreement.

House Republicans refused to accept the deal, which a group of senators from both parties announced earlier this month, and the White House supported after President Trump urged Republicans to oppose the deal. Mr. Trump, Mr. Biden’s likely Republican opponent, has suggested it would be politically bad for Republicans, and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) said the deal was dead on arrival. I decided that.

Meanwhile, in recent days, President Trump has criticized Biden over the death of Georgia student Laken Riley after police charged him with murdering a Venezuelan immigrant, saying that under the Biden administration claimed that it was getting worse.

“As voters head to the polls this November, they will remember how President Trump put himself and his political ambitions above securing our borders and serving the American people,” Floyd said.
