Inside would-be Trump assassin suspect Ryan Wesley Routh’s Hawaii house after FBI raid

KAAWAI, Hawaii — These are the first images after FBI agents raided a cluttered bungalow in Hawaii owned by Ryan Routh, the suspected assassin of President Trump, on Tuesday morning.

Photos from inside the home showed a well-lived but messy bungalow covered in island-themed murals.

The modest home he shares with his girlfriend in the small town of Kaaawa on Oahu is worth an estimated $890,000.

The FBI searched Ryan Wesley Routh's Hawaii home on Tuesday.

Boxes of power tools and kitchen utensils were stacked in the living room, and the patio outside the bright blue home was piled high with disassembled furniture, boxes, rolled up rugs, a ping pong table set up on the dining room table and assorted household trash.

Federal agents broke down the door around 6 a.m. and searched the place until about 1 p.m., when they left with boxes and bags of evidence.

Agents also searched Routh's white pickup truck, which had a Biden-Harris sticker on it and was littered with construction equipment, dirt and parking tickets.

Investigators entered the home at 6 a.m.
Construction equipment, dirt and parking tickets were strewn around Routh's vehicle.
Routh was arrested Sunday and faces federal charges. AP

Routh remains in custody in Florida, about 5,000 miles away, where he was arrested Sunday allegedly hiding with an assault rifle in bushes at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, where the former president was playing.

Secret Service agents found the rifle barrel and fired a shot before the gunman could open fire. Routh briefly fled in a vehicle before being arrested.
