A man driving a black Jeep is being sought in Northern California after authorities say he stalked a group of female students as they left school on Friday.
According to local police, officers responded to Santa Rosa around 4:30 p.m. Friday after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle following children as they were leaving school.
Police said multiple callers reported seeing an adult white male driving a black Jeep near Lemur Street and Providence Court.
Witnesses reported that the driver of the suspicious vehicle drove slowly alongside the girls, occasionally reversing so he could follow the girls' path again.

Police said, “The driver frequently waved and gestured to get the boy's attention, and at one point appeared to motion for the boy to be placed in the back seat of the vehicle.'' There is. “The driver did not speak to the boys, but appeared to be trying to lure them by playing loud pop music that is commonly used by teenage girls.”

Police described the driver as a white adult male with light brown hair and a beard, approximately 25 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighing approximately 120 to 130 pounds.

Police said the vehicle, a black 2008 Jeep Cherokee four-door, had body damage to the left rear quarter panel.
Police warned that the incident is a reminder for parents to talk to their children about safety and “stranger danger.”
