Trump Questions Los Angeles Mayoral Election Results
President Trump has expressed concerns regarding the election results of Spencer Pratt in the Los Angeles mayoral race, labeling the nation’s electoral system as “crooked.”
In a conversation with Newsmax’s Greg Kelly, Trump discussed electoral integrity just before his upcoming national address. He referenced Pratt’s unexpected drop from second place in the June mayoral primary, despite a strong performance initially.
“Spencer Pratt was an easy No. 2, maybe even No. 1, but then all of a sudden, the mail-in votes came in and Spencer Pratt disappeared,” Trump remarked.
He continued by describing how the candidate who overtook Pratt, City Council member Nitya Raman, transitioned from relative obscurity to a significant contender, supposedly receiving nearly all the mail-in votes.
Trump criticized mail-in voting, calling it “corrupt” and insisting on necessary reforms. He emphasized that election fraud should be “fixed,” advocating for stricter voter ID laws.
Recently, Pratt visited the White House where he shared a photo from the Oval Office, celebrating the launch of his new media organization, The War Foundation.
Pratt explained that his new endeavor aims to utilize “powerful media, research, educational campaigns, and strategic government and media partnerships” to spread its message.
Running an anti-establishment campaign, Pratt focused on social media, viral content, and criticism of local leaders, particularly on issues like homelessness and the effective response to the devastating Palisades fire that impacted his home.
After Pratt was unable to move forward to the November runoff, Trump urged him to challenge the results of his June primary loss.
“Spencer Pratt… he shouldn’t just disappear. He should protest, because, in my strong opinion, it was a fraudulent election,” Trump stated last month.
