Democrat DA supported by Soros warns ICE agents working at the airport: 'You can't be pardoned by the President'

Philadelphia DA Issues Warning to ICE Agents

In a recent statement, Philadelphia’s left-leaning district attorney has cautioned Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents heading to the city’s airport. This comes as the Department of Homeland Security deals with ongoing issues and attempts to alleviate pressure on Transportation Security Administration staff.

During a press conference at Philadelphia International Airport on Tuesday, District Attorney Larry Krasner threatened potential legal consequences for ICE agents. He emphasized, “If you don’t like that, Larry, tell your fellow Democrats to fund DHS.”

Krasner recognizes that many agents at ICE are good people and urged them to uphold their commitment to the Constitution. He characterized mass deportations as “immoral,” though he noted that his personal views shouldn’t interfere with the law’s enforcement.

“You break the law in Philadelphia, I will prosecute you, plain and simple,” he asserted. He added that he wouldn’t be swayed by presidential requests or presidential pardons for those agents.

Krasner, who has received backing from progressive philanthropist George Soros, reiterated that Trump lacks the authority to absolve charged ICE agents. He went further, stating, “I will handcuff you and bring you to court. If you act unlawfully at the airport like you’ve done elsewhere, you will face consequences here.”

Krasner later took to social media, relaying a message to ICE officers at Philadelphia International Airport, warning them to adhere to the law or face exposure for their actions. In response, the White House labeled Krasner as “sick and crazy.”

One representative remarked that ICE is present to support TSA agents who are working without pay due to funding issues. They challenged Krasner to advise his fellow Democrats to resolve these funding concerns instead.

Lauren Biss, acting assistant secretary at DHS, defended ICE’s role, highlighting the threats faced by officers and the increase in violent incidents against them. She articulated that illegal actions resulting in harm are the true immoral actions, referencing a recent tragic incident involving an illegal immigrant.
