SCOTUS DISASTER: “Conservative” judges side Libs key case

The U.S. Supreme Court has voted to allow the federal government to resume cutting and removing razor wire installed by the state of Texas on its southern border.

The 5-4 vote was swayed by Justices John Roberts and Amy Coney Barrett, who sided with liberal Justices Ketanji Brown Jackson, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor.

“I don't understand how they can make that decision,” Sara Gonzalez said, adding: “And now we will continue to leave all of these people without scrutiny while we wait for SCOTUS to hear the larger case.”

Stu Bruguiere agrees, but points out that this is a process decision by the Supreme Court.

Bruguière said he believes this is “not against Texas' right to self-defense,” but it “makes us more vulnerable for an extended period of time.”

He added that while Justice John Roberts is a “lost cause,” the decision worries Amy Coney Barrett.

“I hope this is not a sign of things to come,” he says.

However, due to the recent reversal, Roe vs. WadeSCOTUS gave conservatives hope that what's to come won't be so bad.

“I think it certainly worked in that case, but it's not a panacea,” Bruguiere said.
