Jerusalem – The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office on Friday flatly rejected a disinformation campaign by the terrorist movement Hamas that implicated the Jewish state in deception regarding a mass grave found at a battle site on the grounds of a hospital in the Gaza Strip.
“Hamas’ defamation knows no bounds. It’s sad to see how many news organizations are so quick to copy and paste Hamas’s lies for clickbait. “We will continue to target Hamas while avoiding civilian casualties in the war,” Israeli government spokesperson Avi Heyman told Fox News Digital.
Tom Gross, a Middle East expert, told Fox News Digital: “Hamas has a long track record of fabricating truths that put even al-Qaeda and ISIS to shame. Despite this, media outlets that are held responsible, especially in this “CNN repeats Hamas.” Almost without a doubt, they lie. ”
Gross added: “Even the BBC wasn’t caught on this, but CNN seems intent on lending credence to Hamas’ recent bloody slurs against the Jewish state. Why such a spike? When historians come to investigate this year regarding anti-Semitism in America, they may consider the role of some media outlets in encouraging anti-Semitism.

UN, human rights groups, media organizations rely on Hamas death toll from ‘systematic deception’: expert
Gaza’s civil defense agency, run by Hamas, announced on Tuesday that Palestinian medical workers had discovered the bodies of around 340 people said to have been killed and buried by Israeli forces at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.
Asked on Wednesday about Hamas officials claiming there were hundreds of bodies in a mass grave on the grounds of a hospital in Khan Younis, US State Department spokesman Vedant Patel said: “This allegation is alarming. “This is concerning and we take it very seriously.” Seriously, we continue to ask the Israeli government for more information, but the Israel Defense Forces have spoken publicly about this matter, saying they have discovered graves in areas occupied by Palestinians while searching for Israeli hostages. we understand. It was previously buried. ”
Israeli military spokesperson Major Nadav Shoshani wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, that “misinformation is being spread about the mass grave discovered at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis. The grave in question has been around for several months. It was previously dug by Gazans.”

He added: “This fact is supported by social media documents uploaded by Gazans at the time of the burial, as seen in the video below, which attempts to accuse Israel of burying civilians in mass graves. “The attempt is completely false and is just another example of disinformation” campaign aimed at delegitimizing Israel. ”
Prominent American statisticians claim that Hamas fabricated the death toll in the Gaza Strip in order to garner Western support and end Israel’s efforts to eradicate the jihadist terrorist network. Military experts and statisticians have long argued that Hamas fails to distinguish between terrorist fighters and civilians in its war against Israel.
“We want answers,” National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan told reporters about the mass grave, adding: “We want this to be investigated thoroughly and transparently.” Hamas invaded Israel on October 7, massacring 1,200 people, including more than 30 Americans.
Hospitals are institutions protected by international law during times of war. However, medical centers in the Gaza Strip were often converted by Hamas into de facto military facilities to wage war against Israel. When a hospital is converted to military use, it loses its protected rights. Hamas uses medical supplies to hold hostages.
Hamas currently holds more than 100 hostages, including Americans. The Hamas hostages are believed to be in Rafah, a major Hamas battalion stronghold.

Omri Selen, national security adviser to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), wrote in X about some of the mainstream reporting on mass graves: I’ve even seen reports defending it, which is just CNN amplifying what Hamas made up and moving on. ”
In response to Hamas’s accusation that Israel was responsible for the mass graves, the Times of Israel said, “Evidence suggests this is false, and in the midst of fighting between Israel and Israel, A body had previously been buried in the same place by another person.” military and terrorist operatives in the area. ”
The UN’s controversial human rights chief, Volker Türk, said he was “horrified” by reports of mass graves in Gaza’s hospitals – Shifa Medical Facility and Nasser Hospital in Gaza City.

In January, the Israeli mission in Geneva, Switzerland, tasked Mr. Turk’s office with failing to demand the release of Gaza hostages on the 100th day of the war.
“There is not a single word demanding the release of the hostages held in Gaza. Any call for a ceasefire that does not call for the release of the hostages or the disarmament of Hamas is a call for the victory of terrorism.” The diplomat wrote to X.
