Donald Trump Won Because He Is A Man

In a recent interview, Hillary Clinton blamed female voters for abandoning her in the final stages of the 2016 presidential campaign because she wasn’t “perfect.”

“They abandoned me because, as a woman, I was supposed to be perfect, so I couldn’t take any risks,” the former secretary of state said. Said of The New York Times The interview was conducted in February and published on Saturday.

She also argued that female voters took a “risk” with former President Donald Trump because he is a man.

The former first lady also criticized Democrats for not solidifying abortion rights before the Supreme Court overturned them. Roe v. Wade in 2022.

“We didn’t take it seriously, we didn’t understand the threat,” Clinton said. “Most Democrats, most Americans didn’t realize that we were facing a battle for the future of this country.”

“We could have fought more,” she added, likening the fight for abortion access to women’s rights.

“Authoritarians, whether they are politically or religiously based, always attack women. It’s just written in history, and it’s the same thing that happens in this country.”
