Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), Vice President Kamala Harris' running mate, is a “pathological liar” and could be bringing Minnesota into the race for former President Donald Trump, Rep. Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) said during a television appearance. Breitbart News Daily.
Host Mike Slater took a closer look at some of Walz's lies, noting that the governor and vice presidential candidate appears to be lying for no apparent reason.

“We talked to one of the guys who was in the National Guard with him and one of the things I asked him was, he said he was a command sergeant, but sergeant major is still pretty impressive. I mean, just say sergeant major. Why do you have to be promoted to a higher rank for no reason?” Slater asked.
“And now there are two lies that make it seem like he went to Harvard. And the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce had to tell Tim Walz to stop saying he got an award from the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce. This was during the 2006 campaign. They say we never gave you an award. So it's just kind of a weird little lie that's not necessary. What is this all about?” he asked.
“I would argue that 'Stolen Valor' is no little lie,” Emmer said, and Slater agreed. “He's just obfuscating the truth. But the 'Stolen Valor' story has been around since 2008. No one in Minnesota has had the guts to come forward with it.”

“The Harris administration has already admitted that Tim Walz lied about his military record. This should be headline news. The administration has already admitted that Tim Walz lied about trying to avoid arrest when he was arrested for DUI in the early 2000s by claiming to be hearing impaired. He didn't understand what was going on,” Emmer said, noting that the Harris campaign “has already admitted this man is a pathological liar.”
“And this doesn't seem to be front-page news in our mainstream media. Maybe they're a little bit like the Drudge Report. They just want to ignore the truth. This guy is a pathological liar. He's not popular in Minnesota. People don't understand that he barely won the last election with 52% of the vote. We have 87 counties, Mike,” he said, explaining that Walz only won 13 of those counties.
“He won 37 percent of the vote in the remaining 74 states. In fact, Mike, he lost his own district by eight points. The man himself could set Minnesota up for victory for Donald Trump,” Emmer predicted.

That could make former President Donald Trump's goal even easier, as he has vowed to target traditionally Democratic states, including Minnesota, in this election.
“The other thing I'm going to do, and this may be stupid, is I'm going to campaign heavily in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, New Mexico and Minnesota, a state I haven't won in years,” Trump told Breitbart News, setting these goals in motion.
