Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy fears it will be “very dangerous” if the conflict with Russia exceeds 1,000 days and his country begins to lose its unity.
Fox News chief foreign correspondent Trey Yingst caught up with Zelensky in an interview on “Special Report” that aired Tuesday and asked him how he would end the Russia-Ukraine road in 1,000 days.
After meeting with Zelensky outside the front lines, Yingst asked him about the state of the war compared to the beginning of the war. President Zelenskiy said the early years were the most difficult, but any movement now depends on unity against Russia.
“I think that period was the most difficult period, but I think that this period, this moment, depends on the unity of Ukraine. What is very dangerous is losing the unity of Europe, and the most important thing is , the unity of Ukraine and the United States,” Zelenskiy said.

“Isn't it President Putin who can make the decision to end this war?” Yingst asked.
Zelenskiy replied: “I am convinced that as of today, a lot is in the hands of President Putin. He can do it. He can happily end this war.” “But it also depends heavily on the United States. Putin is weaker than the United States. The president of the United States has the power and authority and weapons and can lower the price of energy.” We have heard signals in the media that we are thinking of lowering the price of , and that needs to be done. ”

Inst continued, “Do you have any hope that President-elect Trump will be able to influence President Putin to end the war?”
“It won't be easy, but if he takes advantage of all the problems the United States has, yes he can do it, because he is much stronger than Putin. He is stronger. Stronger. Economy, stronger. The United States has a lot of influence,” Zelenskyy answered.
