The woman punched her 8-year-old into her face as she “sees” her on the bus. The child's mother then fought the attacker, the Metropolitan Police Department in Las Vegas said.
Police said a physical attack occurred on February 15th after the suspect sat near the child on a bus on Lake Mead Boulevard and H Street. KLAS-TV reported.
“If she had been mine and me, she wouldn't have made it from the bus.”
Police released a video of the woman on Thursday, and she entered the municipal bus and left. Police told Blaze News Friday afternoon that the suspect had not been arrested.
Police told Klas that the suspect began using a blasphemous fan towards the child looking at her, then punching the child into the face. The station said the child's mother was caught up in a physical battle with the suspect.
Klas said he saw the unidentified suspect getting off the bus on Lake Mead and Lamb Boulevard, and finally wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, white fur tan boots and large hoop earrings.
The station said police are asking anyone who knows the woman or has information about the case to contact detectives at 702-828-4173 or to email j13525r@lvmpd.com. While remaining anonymous, police said KLAS responders could contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
Las Vegas Metro Police are seeking community help in identifying women accused of punching minors; KVVU-TV reported.
