Patriotic company gives free red, white, and blue upgrade to kid who fought school to fly American flag on his pickup truck

Blaze News readers probably remember last week’s inspiring story about an Indiana high school student who fought his school for the right to display an American flag on the back of his pickup truck, and won the battle.

Now, after learning of Cameron Blasek’s falling out with East Central High School in St. Leon, a Cincinnati patriotic group offered the stand-up senior a free truck upgrade — a true testament to his heart for America. It matches my thoughts.

GCI Digital Imaging applied a new custom wrap to his ride, featuring the American flag and a red, white, and blue color scheme. WXIX TV reported.

“I’m so happy to be able to drive to school wearing this and to be able to show off the American pride that we’ve been shown,” Blasek told the station.

The company provided WXIX anchor Tricia Macke with photos of Cameron’s truck undergoing patriotic modifications and video of the truck being transported on a flatbed and returned to its proud owner. did.

“We did it because we are proud Americans who believe that Prime Minister Cameron did exactly what he was supposed to do and stood up for our freedoms,” TJ Bedercht, owner of GCI Digital Imaging, told WXIX added to.

As previously reported by Blaze News, the incident began when the headteacher and a counselor told Mr Cameron to remove the flag from his truck.

What was his reaction?

“I said, ‘That’s not happening.’ I told them it’s going to be there all day today and first thing tomorrow morning. And they said, ‘If we don’t remove it, You’re going to be charged with insubordination.” And they said, “If you want, you can go to my office and talk more,” Cameron told the press. 765.

The next day, nearly 20 other students showed up with flags on their cars, and Cameron was called to the principal’s office. This brave student said: “The school has the right to ask me to remove the flag. I told him, “Well, you’re just asking me to do it, but you don’t have to.” “I almost said,” he said.

This led to a backlash of power, with the principal sending a letter to parents saying the school encourages “expressions of patriotism and pride in our country among students and staff.”

“After careful consideration, recognizing the importance of the American flag as a symbol of unity and national identity, we would like to inform you that we will allow students to display the American flag in the East Central parking lot. We understand.” “I share the importance of this symbol and the pride it brings to our students, teachers, and the entire school community,” the letter said.

“The men and women died fighting for the right for me and others to fly that flag in our front yards and in our trucks,” said Prime Minister David Cameron, who is considering joining the U.S. military after high school. “I respect and appreciate it.” “I believe it is one of our rights as Americans to fly that flag, as is our First Amendment right.”
